What kind of food does Saxon + Parole serve?

What time do you serve dinner, how many days a week?

We serve dinner seven nights a week and we serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

Monday – Thursday: 6pm – 11pm (bar from 5 pm until 1am)
Friday – Saturday: 6pm – 12am (bar from 5 pm until 2am)
Sunday: 6pm – 11pm (bar until 1am)

Are there vegetarian options?

Our dinner menu currently offers four appetizers, one main course, and several side dishes that are vegetarian. Many of these dishes can be adjusted to accommodate vegan diet. We always try our best to accommodate any dietary restrictions or allergies.

What time does the kitchen close?

The kitchen closes at midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and 11pm Sunday through Thursday.

Can you accommodate large parties?

The restaurant is comprised of three different dining rooms, two of which can accommodate exclusive parties from 15 to 40 guests, and the entire restaurant can accommodate up to 125 seated guests and up to 300 non-seated. Our bar Madam Geneva is also a great alternative for private parties and it can accommodate up to 75 guests for cocktails and canapés. When do you get cancellations?

This is difficult to predict. You can always call the night you wish to dine and the host will let you know if there are any last minute cancellations.

What is the wait time for walk-ins?

This varies greatly. You can always call ahead that evening and speak with our host, who will let you know how busy we are. From 7:00 to 9:30 is usually the busiest time. We encourage people to dine at the bar where seating is available at a first-come, first-serve basis.

Do you accept brunch reservations?

We do not, we take walk-ins on a first come, first served basis.

What credit cards do you accept?

Most major credit cards: American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Diner’s Club.

Do you add gratuity to the check?

A 20% gratuity is added for parties of six or more.

What is the head chef’s name?

Brad Farmerie is our Executive Chef, and Matt Lambert is our Chef de Cuisine.

Does the chef offer tasting menus?

Tasting menus are available with 48 hours of advanced notice. Please contact our Special Events Manager, Kristine Ganancial at 212.254.0350 or kristine@saxonandparole.com.

Can I bring in a cake?

Although we do not allow outside cakes and desserts, our pastry chef can create a custom cake for you with 48 hours advanced notice. The cost is $8.50 per person and requires a minimum of four people.

What is your wine corkage fee?

We have a wide selection of carefully chosen wines from all wine-making regions of the world, including some of the best American wines as well as old-world highlights and classics, but we are more than happy to assist you with arrangements if you want to bring your own wines. Our corkage fee is $25 per bottle.

What’s the dress code?

Smart casual.

Do you have gift certificates?

Yes, they are available in any denomination. Call 212.254.0350 for assistance.

Where can I park?

There is a parking lot on 303 Elizabeth Street between Houston and Bleecker Streets. Street parking is also available on Bowery and other streets in the neighborhood.

How many seats does the restaurant have?

125 seats and 20 at the bar

Is Saxon + Parole wheelchair-accessible?

Yes. Saxon + Parole’s two main dining rooms are on street level and accessible by wheelchair. There is a wheelchair-accessible bathroom in Madam Geneva accessible from Saxon + Parole. Our private dining room is located downstairs from the main dining room and is unfortunately not accessible by wheelchair.

What is Madam Geneva?

Madam Geneva is our bar adjacent to Saxon + Parole, accessible from 4 Bleecker Street and through a secret door in the restaurant (for Saxon + Parole diners only). It specializes in gin-based cocktails inspired by classic cocktail recipes and eclectic influences. A bar menu with selections from the Saxon + Parole main menu is always available during kitchen hours, including our delicious burger, our fresh oysters and much more.
